Jan 22 - Need to say "yes" to yourself? Are you feeling pressure from all fronts and it seems there isn’t enough time to breathe, let alone take a break? Are you swamped with obligations and deadlines and feel your focus cannot waver, even for a moment? Are you loving all that is being thrown at you, while at the same time, not stopping to smell the roses to celebrate all that you have accomplished? When you feel all tied up in knots, whether it is good or bad stress, it is your body telling you to simply say yes to a moment of peace, rest, relaxation, enjoyment, solitude, music, journaling, meditation, lunch with a dear friend, a walk in nature, or whatever will help you destress just a little.
Take an MM&I Moment to awaken to your ability to give yourself permission to simply say yes to you. Why do you feel you cannot spare a moment? Why do you feel every moment needs to be consumed with all of your obligations? When everything that is happening around you is more important than what is happening inside of you, it is time to pause and give yourself that much needed break. You are worth it. You deserve it. So just do it.
