Oct 28, 2013 - Is frustration zapping your energy? Are you feeling drained because of a continuous flow of frustration you are experiencing from a variety of sources? Or is one particular situation affecting your morale and your motivation, which is causing you as much frustration with yourself as you feel about the circumstances causing you stress? While we cannot control what is thrown at us at any given minute to deal or cope with, we do have total control over how we respond, react and choose to move forward to get beyond whatever is affecting us.
Take an MM&I Moment to pause and consider everything that is frustrating you from a more objective perspective. List everything that is causing irritation, disappointment, delays, ineffectiveness, inefficiencies, dissatisfaction or disenchantment for you right now. Instead of viewing each item as something happening to you, view each situation from the mindset of what you can do for you. Note one thing you can do to make the situation easier, better, more comfortable, satisfying, effective, efficient or whatever you believe can be done in spite of what is out of your control. There is always something you can do, no matter how small, that will help you make the shift from feeling frustrated to fabulous.
