Could a distraction help you?

Are you so focused on what needs to be done that you feel like you haven’t come up for air in you don’t know how long? Have you become a taskmaster and list maker where checking off your to-do’s is your only source of gratification right now? What about your satisfaction? Are you enjoying what you are doing or merely doing what you are doing? Without making attempts to go further or zig while others zag, we may never stumble on those opportunities that open up a whole new world of possibilities to us.

Take an MM&I Moment to awaken your dormant spirit. What is something you would like to do or learn that has nothing to do with what you are currently doing? What way could you escape for a few hours, half a day, or even a whole day, and simply enjoy every moment … no stress, no deadlines, no to-do’s, no expectations?  Where could you go and explore for the sheer pleasure of being there and allowing where you are inspire what you decide to do? When what we are doing feels more like going through the motions, it is time re-awaken your curiosity and childlike wonder. Some of our greatest ‘aha’ moments happen while doing something else or simply being in the moment.
