Do your actions nurture momentum?

Are you taking steps that are building momentum? Are you making moves that are moving you forward? If you feel like you are constantly in motion yet still aren’t getting anywhere, it may be time to assess how you are prioritizing actions and the choices you are making. Are you building off of successes or always in a “try something new” mode? Are you reinventing the wheel or allowing what is working to inspire next-best actions towards success?  Each decision and choice you make is an opportunity to create momentum. When you act from a place of vision and focus, you attract even more ways to build momentum.

Take an MM&I Moment to reawaken your priorities and focus to get your momentum flowing again. Do you have a clear vision of your future? Do you have a clear mission and purpose that inspires you and others? Take a look at all the actions you have on your to-do list right now. Ask yourself how each action will nurture or support your vision and mission. Which ones don’t? Ask yourself what successes you have had recently that affirmed you were heading in the right direction. What could you replicate or leverage as a result of that success? What failures did you have that have disheartened you? List what you now know or learned as a result of that experience, and how you can now take action as a result of this insight. Whether it is stepping up, stepping out, or stepping forward, progress is at your command.
