Are your reasons compelling enough?

March 26, 2018 - Are your reasons compelling enough? Are you striving to achieve based on a clear purpose and desired outcome, or are you striving to reach certain attainments based what is expected or has been dictated?  Are you impassioned and inspired to succeed or are outside influences driving you to succeed? Too often we allow what is deemed successful to cloud what would make us even more successful. If you are not realizing an ongoing satisfaction and gratification, then other factors or perceptions may have too much of an influence upon you.

Take an MM&I Moment to examine your reasons behind each goal you are striving to achieve. List these reasons and then note what most excites you and stirs up passion in you. If you don't feel motivated by a reason, then consider if it is actually someone else's reason or some form of societal influence, instead of what you really believe is important. When your reasons align with your core values and passions, you will find yourself on an unstoppable trajectory that takes you beyond what you thought possible.
