Are you thinking too small?

April 20, 2015 - Are you thinking too small? Are you finding that the goals you set are easily achieved or they simply don't excite you to begin with? What makes a goal exhilarating is in the journey and effort that is involved to reach it. If your goals are merely tasks with deadlines, then no wonder you find no passion or motivation associated with them.  When you stretch yourself to set goals that go beyond the realm of your current abilities, reality or comfort zone, you ignite within you the spark of possibilities that you want to believe could be a probability. You give yourself something to look forward to, as well as something to focus upon, that moves you forward with each little and big step it may take.

Take an MM&I Moment to review your current goals. Do you have any goals that makes you uncomfortable because it seems so out of the realm of possibility? Do you have a goal that stretches your capacity in some way through advancing your abilities, your knowledge, your circle of influence or your bank account? Do your goals excite and motivate you because they are attached to an underlying purpose and passion that you simply must bring to reality? By giving your goals more meaning, what may have seemed unreachable becomes plausible. Allow your mind to see it, and then your confidence and determination to achieve it. You don't need to know all the answers, you just need to believe you can, and that you will.
