Is your perception reality?

Nov 10, 2014 - Is your perception reality? Are you finding that no matter what you seem to do, what you are trying to do is not getting accomplished?  Could your perception of the situation be the problem? If you believe that no matter what you do, you will still be stuck, chances are you will still be stuck. If you spend too much time thinking about what needs to be done, you may never get around to actually doing it. Your perception can most certainly become your reality when you put more energy into the challenge and obstacles than into the opportunity of doing and then achieving.

Take an MM&I Moment to understand the underlying reasons for your lack of progress. In working towards your goal, has it been more thinking than doing, or "busy work" versus next best steps?  Are you not receiving your desired results because of not being open to options or resources that could help you get there faster?  Are you caught in a quagmire of frustration from past efforts, that you are losing some of your faith in your ability to achieve what you desire? Allow your perception to be your reality in the most positive way. Identify your next best step, then do it. Then identify the next, then do it. And repeat, celebrating each step accomplished as validation you are that much closer to your goal. Before you know it, the goal is accomplished, and perception indeed is your reality in all the right ways.
