Are you satisfied with this year’s work?

Dec 12, 2011 – Are you satisfied with this year’s work? As you reflect over the past 12 months, are you gratified and satisfied with what has been accomplished or are you wishing you could have done more? Are you excited about the year to come or are you wishing you could relive and rework a few things from this past year? While it is always good to learn and grow from experiences that did not go as desired, to continually focus on what you wish would have been or feeling guilty about what you didn’t get around to doing is taking your energy away from doing what you desire and taking action towards your desires.

Take an MM&I Moment to list what you have achieved, enjoyed, appreciated, and valued about this past year.  List relationships which have nurtured and supported you. List experiences which have given you insight, greater wisdom, or enabled you to achieve or get something you needed at the time. By reflecting on what went right, you are reinforcing your ability to make things happen and can better create ways to do things even more effectively. Build upon what you already have going your way and you may be surprised how many things get out of your way and fall into place.

Synergized Quote of the Week

"Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us.” – Hal Borland
