July 25, 2011 – Not feeling content? Are you dissatisfied with things and how life is currently? Are you finding yourself unmotivated or not energized by anything happening around you? Are you fed up with a particular situation and feel there is nothing you can do to change it? When you feel as though nothing is as you desire, it is time to focus entirely on what you do desire. Happiness is a state of mind, not a desired state. It is a way of being, not a goal to be. Therefore, if you are currently unhappy with things around you, you are the only one who can change this for the better.
Take an MM&I Moment to write down everything that would make you happier than the way you feel right now. Now list some things you can do right now to manifest this happiness, regardless of anyone else's actions. Those who know true happiness naturally gravitate to experiences, people, and situations that bring satisfaction. Start with the simplest of desires, and feel the power you have to make it so.
