Are your words influencing your thinking?

Aug 23, 2010 – Are your words influencing your thinking? Do you find yourself using the words “wish” “hope” “should” or “someday?”  How you speak to yourself and to others indicates how you will take action or not take action. Words like hope, wish, and someday create a feeling that what is desired is always slightly out of reach. Words like should indicate you feel an obligation and therefore are not as passionate.

Take MM&I Moments over this week to catch yourself using any of these words and ask yourself why. Then change wish to know, hope to envision, should to can and someday to now.  By embracing the words you use and turning them into more powerful action-oriented words, you are giving yourself the gift of empowerment. I know that whatever you envision can be in the here and now! So now it is just a matter of you knowing and believing too!

Synergized Quote of the Week

"Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.” – Marcus Aurelius
