November 05 – Have you tried everything? Are you frustrated by a lack of traction when you feel like you have done everything possible to no avail? Do you feel like you are spinning your wheels and not making progress, and have run out of ideas or options? Are you tired of trying this and trying that only to not realize what you hoped would be gained?
Trying everything may be part of the problem, especially if it is in a reactive mode instead of a strategically empowered mode. Could it be that you have tried many tactics and approaches without an underlying strategy, focus or purpose to guide them? Are you confusing activity with an expectation of progress when the activity is not clearing a pathway forward? It may be time to take a step back and realign your purpose, vision and desired impact.
Take an MM&I Moment to awaken to why trying everything has gotten you nowhere. Are you basing your activity on what others are doing expecting the same outcome without knowing what else was critical to their success? Are you too focused on comparing that your judgement has become clouded? Are your efforts focused on big actions where details are potentially overlooked or missed? Are you trying so many different things that nothing is really being thought through or embraced with true intention and clear desired outcomes? Are you choosing your next steps based on clarity or a fear of missing out? Instead of comparing and replicating at a surface level, take time to understand what is most important to focus upon for momentum and progress to be realized. If doubt is causing you to continuously try unproven options, how can you erase doubt for greater probability of success? While you may believe you have tried everything, the one thing you haven’t tried is focusing and dialing into what is truly aligned with your vision, mission and what makes what you are trying to do impactful. A clear vision and mission creates daily impact through clearer decisions. Doubt is removed, and inspired action is empowered. It isn’t always that going bigger is better. Everyday actions and shifts reap the most exponential results.
