Are you improving your tomorrow?

Feb 14  – Are you improving your tomorrow? Are you so focused on getting through each day, that you have lost touch with your desire to make your tomorrow even better?  Is your day so filled with checklists and tasks to be checked off that you are buried in activity versus taking real action? Are you lost in the minutia of demands, being distracted away from what really matters to you and excites you for the future?

When life seems to be managing us versus us managing our lives, we can get caught up in a feeling of duty and production instead of being empowered by intention and progress. Every action you take can be and should be helping you manifest what you seek for your tomorrow. If some of your activity is not moving you forward, then pause to determine whether it is activity that needs to be done by you at all.

Take an MM&I Moment to awaken to all that you are doing. First, take a look at each item on your to-do list and ask yourself how doing it is helping you move forward, progress beyond where you currently are, or getting you closer to a goal you hope to achieve. When you can look back at each day and know with confidence and pride that it has helped make your tomorrow even more rewarding and inviting, then you know you are doing exactly what you should be doing.  Life is filled with many moving parts, and is part of what makes it so interesting and invigorating. Being intentional about which parts you move forward will not only be emotionally gratifying, but also will be spiritually freeing, revealing a world of possibilities, opportunity, and achievement that you didn't realize you were missing. Progress towards your ultimate desires is empowered by your priorities.
