Are you where you want to be?

June 1 – Are you where you want to be? As you look at your life and your business, are you where you want to be or thought you would be? Do you find yourself criticizing or being disappointed with your progress? Do you feel as though you should have accomplished more, achieved more, or realized more? Do you find yourself more focused on what has not gotten done than what has gotten done?

Every day whether you realize if or not progress has been made. You can choose to ignore this progress as not enough, or you can embrace it for being just enough to move the needle forward more than you may have realized. Even getting through something difficult is progress. The key is seeing it as progress with a mindset of appreciation, growth, and resilience.

Take an MM&I Moment to reawaken your agile appreciative spirit. Take a moment to recognize where you have adapted amidst anything unexpected. Take a moment to appreciate anything you now know that you didn’t know a week ago, a month ago, a year ago, or a decade ago. Now consider how this knowledge has served you in positive or profound ways. Your agility is greater than you give yourself credit. You do it every day without even realizing it. Be in awe of your natural ability to adjust, adapt, and shift. It’s proof how unstoppable you really are.
