Are you bracing yourself?

July 14 – Are you bracing yourself? Are you continuously anticipating the worst versus the best possibilities? Do you find yourself believing that something may be too good to be true when things are going well? When you decide to step out of your comfort zone, do you focus more on what could go wrong than what could go right? When a series of unexpected things occur, do you brace yourself for something bad to happen instead of what could be a blessing?

One of our greatest enlightenments is when you embrace uncertainty with curiosity, confidence, and conviction that you will continue to be rewarded. It sets forth a journey where we get out of our own way and opens the pathway to true contentment and gratification.

Take an MM&I Moment to awaken your optimism. Take a look at any situation you are currently viewing from an all that could go wrong perspective. Now flip this to imagine all that could go right and what it could mean for you. Consider what is going well for you and note why you are believing it won’t last or is too good to be true. What is influencing your thinking? Instead, write all the reasons you are so very grateful for what is going well.  You have within your being the ability to shift from naysaying and pessimism to optimism and embracing possibilities. And when you do, you are unstoppable.
