Are you doing too much?

June 9 – Are you doing too much? Do you start each day wondering how you are going to get it all done? Is your checklist long and your to-do list even longer? Are you so consumed with all that is being demanded upon you that you feel like you cannot even take a moment to breathe? When you get to this point, it is more important than ever to stop. Fully stop whatever you are doing in that moment you feel overwhelmed or like you will never get caught up and give yourself permission to release what is not serving you. 

Take an MM&I Moment to reawaken your ability to choose and focus on what will bring you the greatest satisfaction, joy, and gratification. Take a look at your never-ending to-do list. Does it all really need to be done, and by you? Are there things that you do out of habit, yet someone else could be doing? Are there things that you are doing out of obligation, and yet someone else could take the reins and take charge? Are there things that actually don’t need to be done, and yet you are doing them? Are there things that you don’t enjoy doing that someone else would enjoy doing? Choose to eliminate some of your to-do’s and items on your checklist so your list is truly one of your making based on your wants, desires, and joys.  When you let go, you allow so much more in.
