Are you planning for success or survival?

July 29 - Are you planning for success or survival?  Are you planning for success or still planning for survival? How are you planning for things to be different in your business, your career, or your life than they are currently? How are you analyzing what has worked? How will you continue to build upon what worked for future successes this year, despite of the disruption that has occurred this year?  If your goals and actions are focused on maintaining what you have, then you are in a survival mode, fearful of losing what you have accumulated or accomplished thus far. Instead of being protective, be projective about your future. Envision the ultimate outcome of what you could realize because of achieving these goals. Open your mind, your eyes, and your heart to the possibilities.

Take an MM&I Moment to re-awaken your belief in overcoming and thriving against challenges. List some of the successes you realized that you would like to replicate or build upon for even greater success. List some successes you have seen others accomplish and the questions you have of them to learn how you could apply to your actions and efforts. Set goals around these specific focus areas and then visualize your ideal outcome once achieved.  Identify something you can do each day, no matter how small, to progress on each goal. The smallest of actions can lead to a domino-effect of successes with the right focus, motivation, and attitude. Through focusing on what you can do and what you and others have done successfully,  you are shifting your momentum to one that is moving you, your business, your career, and your life forward.
