Is now or what you want most winning?

July 10, 2019 - Is now or what you want most winning? How well are you focusing on the things you want most in your life? How effective are you at saying “no” to what is not urgent or important in order to say “yes” to what is necessary and meaningful for you? Are you starting your day with your ultimate reward and desires in mind? Are you putting actions related to what you want most as priorities for each day?  It is easy to get caught up in the demands of now to the point of distraction, especially when “they won’t take that much time.” However, when you continuously set aside what you want most to take care of everything else, your actions are saying you don’t want it as much as you think you do. If you want it, then there are no if, ands, or buts.

Take an MM&I Moment to awaken to how sacrificing to the demands of now are keeping you from what you most want. If you feel slammed, how much of it is your choosing, and how much of it is imposed upon you? Make two columns and be honest with yourself. Then look at what is being imposed upon you and decide what is not longer necessary to be done by you. If you feel as though you can never get to what you really want to be doing, list your reasons why. Are they reasons or excuses? What can you do every day without fail towards what you want most? What will you not miss doing in order to do what you want most? What could you stop doing in order to do what you want most? How could someone help you do what you want most? There are always ways to shift and move more effectively toward what you want most. One you see what you have been allowing yourself to do, you can decide once and for all that you are worth it, you deserve it, and you can do it.
