How aren't you showing up?

April 23, 2018 - How aren't you showing up? Are you so focused on what you are trying to achieve, that you are not keeping yourself open to what may actually help you accomplish it faster or more effectively? Have you had opportunities to explore that you quickly dismissed, because they were not what you thought you needed to be focused upon? Has someone needed your guidance or assistance that you were too busy to accommodate? When you get too busy, this is a sign that you need to slow down and take a moment to make sure you are not confusing busy with productivity.

Take an MM&I Moment to consider if you are busy doing the optimal things for your best and most ideal outcomes. If there has been someone who needed your assistance, consider how helping them could also help you. The mantra find a way or make a way by helping others find a way or make a way could be a tipping point for you. Consider if you are being open to all possible resources, options and support. Have there been opportunities you may have too quickly dismissed because you were so intent on doing what you felt you needed to be doing. Consider the possibilities of what these opportunities could uncover for you in advancing your initiatives. Finally, is there anything you are doing or have put off doing that could be better suited for someone else to support you in doing so you can actually focus on the most critical aspects of what only you can do. By making it easier for yourself, through releasing tasks others can do on your behalf, you may just find that what you are trying to accomplish gets accomplished in even more profound and rewarding ways than you could have possibly imagined.

Synergized Quote of the Week

"Don't be so reasonable, practical and sensible that you refuse to seize glorious opportunities when they show up and push the envelope as to what's possible for you." - Robin S. Sharma
