Oct 30, 2017 - Are past mistakes haunting you? Is the fear of making the same mistake again limiting you or causing you not to move forward towards something you really want to achieve? Did you attempt something that did not work out as you had hoped, so now you are having doubts about your ability to achieve what you desire? Remember that mistakes are a way of teaching us, and that failure is not an "f" word. Our greatest achievements are always underscored with attempts that didn't quite work out, opportunities that fizzle, and setbacks that are all presenting themselves to propel us forward with greater insight, determination and conviction.
Take an MM&I Moment to view any mistakes, perceived failures or setbacks for what they really are ... achievement motivators. What do you now know that you didn't before the mistake occurred? What was the result of the perceived failure, and the insight gained that you can take forward with more confidence? How is what has recently occurred a setback? Could it be merely an adjustment to set you on a more promising course? The way you view and think about everything that has happened and is happening is the most powerful indicator of your ability to succeed and overcome any challenge. Allow your thinking to be your greatest instrument for success, and you will be unstoppable.
