Oct 24, 2016 - Too busy doing it all? Are you feeling overwhelmed by all that you have on your plate to accomplish, yet are still trying to do everything yourself? Do you believe you have no choice but to do it all yourself because you think you have no other options? Is a majority of what you are doing keeping you busy, yet not feeling as productive as you really want to be? Are you doing things you really don't want to be doing, yet you feel you have no other choice? Being busy and actively engaged in moving you ultimate desires forward is commendable and ideal. However, if what you are busy doing isn't what you really want to be doing, then you need to ask yourself why you are allowing this to happen.
Take an MM&I Moment to explore the possibility that you are getting in your own way. Why are you doing everything or most thing instead of reaching out for support and assistance? Are these things that you are doing keeping you from doing what you really would like to be doing? If you believe you have no one else to depend on, what makes you think this is the case? Have you asked for help and been denied, or do you believe that asking for help is a weakness or charity? Are there people or services that you could tap into for help, and if so, what is stopping you from accessing them? Do you believe you cannot afford to pay someone or a service provider to help you? What is it costing you by not making that investment? Whatever it is you believe is keeping you from where you want to be personally or professionally is all a matter of what you believe and accept. Get out of your own way and allow yourself to be open to all possible resources, and support to help you get to where you want to go.
