Are your ideas just ideas?

Aug 17, 2015 - Are your ideas just ideas? Do you find yourself thinking about great things that could be done, but not even knowing where to begin to pursue them? Or do you have so many ideas you don't know which one to even begin with? Perhaps you don't think you could make the idea work or dismiss the idea because you think no one else will think it's a good one. You have ideas for a reason.  Each of us has a unique way of seeing things and thinking about things. Some ideas will work and some won't. But you'll never know unless you explore them ... until you plant that seed and see if it will grow into something magnificent.

Take an MM&I Moment to give your ideas a chance. Consider which ideas you have thought of lately that you have too easily dismissed.  Consider which ideas were too quickly dismissed by you because someone you shared them with didn't get it.  Consider which ideas you are excited about, yet have no idea where to begin. Now write the one idea you would really like to explore. Then explore it. What do you need to know? What do you need to consider? Who may be better to take your idea and run with it? Give your own imagination the respect it deserves by igniting some of your inspirations into more than just a fleeting thought.
