July 7, 2014 - Are you in too much of a hurry? Are you anxious to see the fruits of your labor and realize your end result for the effort you have put into your goals? Are you so focused on what you are intending to accomplish that you are not fully embracing all the good that is occurring right now? Too often, in our determination to achieve what we have set out to do, we miss the joys and small pleasures of life along the way. Life is too short to rush through it.
Take an MM&I Moment to pause and appreciate your current circumstances. Delight in some of the small successes you have realized amidst your journey towards achievement. Be grateful for your friends, loved ones, and coworkers who make life and work more enjoyable. Appreciate any support you have received while striving toward your goals. Give thanks for all that you have accomplished that has brought you to your current state of being. When we stop hurrying, more often than not, what we were hurrying toward comes more easily because we are paying attention and paying tribute to what got us there all along the way.
