Feeling unmotivated?

March 3, 2014 - Feeling unmotivated? Are you faced with a challenge that is causing you to doubt your ability to accomplish what you know you need to do? Are you challenged with a deadline that is actually making you feel less motivated rather than more motivated because of the pressure you feel as the date draws near? If motivation has never been an issue before, and yet it is now, you need to understand what has changed to cause a lack of motivation to occur. If motivation is an ongoing problem you face, then you need to understand what is really important to you that will help you become motivated to accomplish what needs to be done.

Take an MM&I Moment to explore your current situation to better understand what is necessary to motivate you into action. What is it that you most desire will occur as a result of completing what you are trying to finish? How will you be better able to move forward? How will meeting the deadline help you  improve your current circumstances? How will meeting the deadline give you relief, satisfaction  or more opportunities? Motivation comes first and foremost from knowing what is most important to you and desired by you. When you can match your desire with the outcome, then whatever needs to be done becomes easier to achieve because you are inspired and determined to achieve it.
