Are you questioning your judgement?

Sept 3, 2012 – Are you questioning your judgement? Have you made an investment of time, money or your trust that did not turn out as you had hoped? Are you now questioning your own judgment or your own ability to achieve what you had set out to accomplish? Your time, money and even your trust is never wasted if it was invested with the best of intentions and possibilities in mind. Too often, we allow our disappointment to cloud the real value of an outcome when it is not as we had desired or hoped.

Take an MM&I Moment and note what you had hoped would be the result of your investment. Then note anything positive that did come out of the experience. What did you gain in learning or more awareness?  What did you gain in insight? What do you now know that you did not know before? What will you now do differently?  The key to getting your highest return on any investment is being able to weight the result and measure its true value in multi-faceted ways, one of the most valuable is the knowledge gained. Then no effort is wasted, and every effort is valuable.
