Is someday always your response?

June 11, 2012 – Is someday always your response? Have you caught yourself saying that someday you will get around to doing something?  Someday you will be able to finally do what you want to do? Someday things will be different than they are right now? As the saying goes, “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift, that’s why they call it the present.” …  Someday is now.  Don’t let your past hold you back towards your future. And don’t let what is happening around you keep you from doing what you really want to be doing, even in the smallest of ways, now.

Take an MM&I Moment to note anything that you have put off doing, even though you would really like to be doing it now. Note how you believe things will be different and what small steps you can take now to make the difference begin to evolve before your eyes. If you believe you must wait, then you are the main reason that you are waiting. If someone has made you believe you must wait, then once again, you are the reason that you are postponing.  Give yourself the gift of today to do even the slightest things that will make your “someday” arrive sooner than you thought possible.
