Do you have a white-knuckled grip on life?

Feb 28, 2011 - Do you have a white-knuckled grip on life? Has everyday stress got you bracing yourself for what is coming next? If this is the case, even in only one area of your life, then you are reacting to the present versus creating your future. If your thoughts and actions are more about anticipating the worst, then your intentions and focus is on stopping things from happening versus making things happen.

Take an MM&I Moment to take a deep breath and look at things in a different way. Instead of gripping on tight to a low expectation or undesirable outcome, write down what you would truly like to result or what you would rather be focusing on.  Then list three things you can do to make whatever it is be more to your liking. When you begin shifting from what you can’t control to what you can take charge of, you will be amazed at how that white-knuckled grip will change to embracing life with gusto and enjoying it in all its glory.
