Are you too focused on what hasn’t happened?

Dec 27, 2010 – Are you too focused on what hasn’t happened? How are you viewing this past year and then looking forward to the year ahead? Are you focusing on what went wrong or what went right? Are you wishing things were different or are you looking forward to continuing to make a difference?  If you are continually looking at the negative side of things, then you are allowing yourself to be stuck in the past versus being stimulated towards the future.

Take an MM&I Moment to reflect on this past year only listing what you have achieved, made possible, made better, or moved forward. Also list special relationships that have developed, opportunities that have appeared, challenges that are no longer an issue, and any special memories that make you smile inside out. Then allow yourself, perhaps for the very first time, to celebrate and appreciate how far you actually have come and how exciting the upcoming year will be in moving you even further forward towards your ultimate desires.
