What are you doing for yourself?

July 6, 2009 – What are you doing for yourself? As we come off of Independence Day weekend, how have you recaptured some of your independence? What have you done lately for the “Myself” part of you … the individual you? Are you so busy keeping everything going and everybody else happy, that you simply cannot find time for yourself?  Those with synergized lives don’t put themselves last. They know that taking care of themselves first allows them to better take care of all other aspects of their life, their work, and all those they care about.

Take an MM&I Moment every day this week to do something just for you. Then do it again next week, and the week after, and the week after. It takes 30 days to form a habit. Make moments of appreciating and doing things for yourself a daily habit, not an “every-now-and-then” exception.

Synergized Quote of the Week

"A long healthy life is no accident. It beings with good genes, but it also depends on good habits." - Dan Buettner
